Micro-Activity #1: Introductions Rodrigo A Vega

Three pieces of information that caught my attention on the syllabus are: The fact that the professor is available multiple days of the week for office hours, which can make it convenient for students to speak with the professor, I liked how the syllabus mentions that ā€œWeā€™re aiming to give you a toolbox of skills that you can apply to other classes and situations.ā€ Because it is great to have skills that can be applied to multiple fields. And another thing that I found interesting about the syllabus is that it mentions that you need to put 6 hours each week for independent study/class preparationā€ and I think that knowing that could help with doing well with this class.

Concerns that I have about online learning is the reliability of using these online services. What if nobody can use a service because itā€™s not available, will we get an excuse not handing in our work on time?

I think that professor should try to work something out, in case no one can use a service to know If there is work to do or they want to send in some work.

Thinking about reliability of services, I am also thinking off what if a student canā€™t use Zoom for speaking with the professor. Will the professor be able to use other methods of communication, in case a student needs to contact that professor?

While I think that with online learning, we can still take our education despite the pandemic going on. There are still some other issues, that some might have to deal with while taking classes online. Such as loud and disruptive outside people that can make it difficult to do collage work.

Hey Rodrigo, i agree with you on how the professor can be available 3 times a week its going to be very helpful. I would prefer physical classes instead of online classes but as you said we cant have a pandemic stop our education we will try our best to do our collage work. Have a good day.

    Hi Rodrigo,
We have to thank this technology who gave us the opportunity to study online, because without this method, there would not be college due to the Corona virus. I know it is not easy to study online, but we have to make efforts to pass all the classes.
