To whom this concern, 

Greetings! My name is Amanda Feliz, I’m currently in my second year of college at City Tech. In my second year of college, I took ENG1121 with professor Penner. Professor was one of my favorite professors this year. Her assignment made my creative writing and ideas stronger one of the assignments that helped me with that is unit 3. Unit 3 is an assignment I would always remember from her class. I found this assignment compelling because I was able to discuss something that I felt passionate about. The topic that I have always been passionate about was the black lives matter movement and like current issues, black people facing which is police brutality. Additionally, I was able to be creative and put everything I was passionate about in a podcast. Professor told me that most everyone in my class did a PowerPoint. I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and try something new for myself.  I knew a podcast would be difficult to create but I still manage to be creative. Furthermore, my online experience this semester wasn’t the best. I had some difficult moments. I was failing some classes but I still manage to push through under the circumstances we are currently going through. A way I push through is to honestly study and put in my best work. Lastly, Processor Penner in every assignment gave us an opportunity to write about things that we felt passionate about or a subject we already knew about. Although, she might tell you to think, extend your thinking, and pick something else. She helped me to be more creative and to add many thoughts into my paper. This class helped me for the future to write better now I can take the same method I learned here into my other writing classes I come across in the future.
