This Unit was very fun and taught me alot about different types of media. I never really heard of multimedia texts before this semester. I had difficulty at first trying to understand the concepts of multimedia texts. However, I learned to find multimedia texts very helpful in trying to portray a message to a specific group of people or the public. Once deciding what I wanted to choose as my project for this unit, which was a powerpoint presentation, it made me realize that learning or trying to interpret an image visually can teach you more than words do in some cases. The powerpoint presentation I created was fun as I got a chance to create slides with images and videos that helped me portray my message to the audience. The artist statement was also a very helpful experience because I had never written an artist statement prior to this semester.
