Micro-Activity #19

My goals for this piece were to represent the data and how the sources presented this information to society through my annotated bibliography. Many of my references came from different genres, so I wanted to demonstrate my analysis of the references in a PowerPoint. With PowerPoint, designs, and layouts, I am not the greatest, but I know its fundamentals after taking a high school filmmaking class. I wanted the reader/viewer to go through data intake. I created posts with precise details that I would like to include in the design, theme, designs, and layout. I decided what my project’s overall look would be when I learned more about deforestation in other countries. I planned to upload deforestation images from Google and edit them into the presentation after determining the project’s design. It turns out that with all the edited photos and designs, my file size became too big to post on an open lab, so I had to limit the number of things I put in the presentation. I gave up on the gifs on my computer after trying every way Google suggested and just used the Google images. This presentation avoids procrastination because you need to prepare for each step promptly. While the project was an exciting way to express an idea, I think I’m still going to stick to writing papers in the future so that I can procrastinate as I see fit.
