I am going to be creating a poster as part of the genre for choosing a multimodal text this unit. I hope to inform the audience about the problems with climate change. Moreover, I also hope to persuade the audience to commit to change and use more cleaner energy and use more renewable resources in their everyday lives. In my poster I want to include images that shows the impact on increased temperatures and the rise in sea levels. It would include a real life scenario of a scene that would give the audience a visual aspect of the situation. Each scenario for example, like in the increase in sea levels due to climate change; it will have an explanation near the images briefly describing the cause and effects and what is going on. On the other part of poster I will show how renewable energy can help prevent the situations from happening. I will most likely use Microsoft word or PowerPoint and try to create a bigger page so I have room to work with then use digital images and shapes to create different scenarios that are caused by climate change. It will be organized by the images that is surrounded with facts about climate change.
