I absolutely loved writing in this genre, it was easier for me to relate, build and construct. The Douglass speech really helped me find my voice and how to make it more impactful. The one part I had the most struggles with was the ending “I am a gamer, streamer, black woman, lesbian, and even with a million dollars in my pocket I am still looked at like garbage stuck in a filthy corner. Equality, my sex, and my skin color do not grant me advantages in life. Does yours?” I wanted to leave it impactful but not saturated with words. If I had another 24hrs I would probably extend this paper more in depth. I think that its a topic or a problem most people would never think about. Worth sharing.

Office Hours: 1 to 2 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation through email each week. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If the above times don’t work for you, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email.
