Introduction

 The  three pieces of information  from the syllabus that  caught my interest was;

1. It is asynchronous.
2. The fact that the professor is available multiple days of the week for office hours.
3. We use OpenLab.

For me, Online classes can be very complicated. It always concerns me because it can be really complicated to use the system that’s provided. In this case it is Openlab. I feel we get drained with work in the beginning and we just freak out because we don’t know how to submit assignments, due to the fact that the system we are using is very complicated.  When CityTech switched to online classes we either used zoom or blackboard, which I was familiar with and had classmates that would help me walk through how it works. However, I  am hoping to get more familiar with openlab as soon as possible.  This is my first asynchronous class, so it’s pretty much new to me. I don’t think it will be as hard as it seems, but it’s  the matter of knowing how to submit my work. I enjoy the fact that the professor has office hours most days of the week, it makes me feel more comfortable because in case I have any questions about assignments and openlab.
