So for the first part of the writing assignment, you want us to research problems, solutions, and what has already been done for one of discourse communities that we have done from Micro Activity #2?
For the second part, when we write a letter to someone, who does it have to be written to specifically? Could I write it to a student from our class? Also, we need to write about a problem or issue that is central to the DC that I’ve chosen? Like for ex: WIAGA Golf. Could that work?
If there are multiple problems in this discourse community, can we pick 2-3 problems and do the research for each?
How can we attract the attention of the audiences if the problem of DC is basically the conflict between the internal groups, and the people outside this DC have nothing to do with it? For example, if only members of this DC can vote for decisions. In order to solve the problem, has the purpose of our speech changed to persuade the audience to join the DC?

Hi Professor , My understanding for this assignment is to expelling any community has specif goals to develop everyday and help others with their journal. Discourse community could be more like forum what focuses to help specific group of community with the information and knowledge
