First of all, I just want to say that I really enjoyed the last couple of months here this semester. I learned
new things here in this class. Now that semester is about to finish, I think I can talk about my learning
outcome. I will be very honest that I am not a fan of reading books. But for classes I read different
articles, newspapers, magazines and watched some videos to do the research work. I felt that I was not
really comfortable of reading something for a long time. For example, when I was doing the research,
there was an article, and it took me two days to get it done. But I think I like to express myself more and
I like to write. I am not a critical thinker or not a writer either. I am more of a person who uses simple
writing style and think straight.
This semester I made myself familiar with different types of writing styles. Some things I used to know
from my previous semester, but I was not really good at it. I think I did it better than the previous
semester. Which is a very positive thing for me. Now I am confident about the subject. I understand the
concept how to do it. For example, annotated bibliography is a good way of showing it. I did better than
the last time and way of doing it also much better.
The thing I learned from this semester is I can use the skills in the future in my work or in
my future studies. I can say how to the MLA citation properly. I have other subjects as well where I
needed MLA citations to use. Because I learn it here properly, I use my learning over there as well.
What I enjoyed about this reflection is that my partner was honest about not enjoying reading.
One thing I read that he learned about himself was that he was becoming more familiar with different types of writing styles.
He changed over the semester because he understood the different concepts which made him more confident in his writing.
He writes that he will definitely use MLA in further classes. He knows that in college, there will be many occasions in which he will have to cite in MLA.
Overall, I really like your reflection. I would only maybe give some examples of what assignment helped you most. Or what assignment was your favorite and why. Just try to add some more information to meet the word count.
