Yes, Antigone engaged in civil disobedience. As defined, civil disobedience is refusal to comply with the law. Antigone puts the law of god above all, including king Creon. Antigone decides to bury her brother, Polynices, when Creon had decided he should not be buried. Without a burial, Antigone believes her brother would not be respected.
