“Why Do People Bully? – Bullying Statistics.” Bullying Statistics, 7 July 2015, www.bullyingstatistics.org/content/why-do-people-bully.html. Accessed 9 Nov. 2021.

Summary:

Bullying is defined as intentional attempts to control another person through verbal abuse. There are many reasons people get bullied; common ones are cultural, institutional causes, social issues, family issues, and personal history. In addition, bullying can be caused by the way people treat each other in various ways, including physical, verbal, and emotional abuse. The mere fact of having power may make some people want to wield it prominently, but it is also true that people may be given power without being trained in the leadership skills that will allow them to wield it wisely. Bullying others can be caused by either situation.

Reflection:

I agree with this article because there are plenty of reasons why people tend to bully someone. And based on the reason it gives the bully a way to pick on them either verbally or physically.
