I think Antigone is engaged in the act of civil disobedience. Based on the play, Creon is the king who has the power to make orders, and his citizen must follow his command. King Creon ordered to leave Antigone’s brother’s body unburied and be left out to rot. Everyone agreed to follow his order, while Antigone was not happy with his order, and she thought it was unfair. So she decided to bury his body by herself without the king’s acknowledgment.
