I found it easier to express my thoughts in a letter because it was something I had more experience doing. Whereas a speech is something I haven’t tried before. I used two quotes from Young and Wollstonecraft pieces because it fit perfectly with what I wanted the audience to understand. As a writer I already knew that if I don’t put the time in I won’t perform well and won’t have things to write. This has just given me another wake up call. At the beginning I didn’t know how my letter would turn out. Even though it is not the best, I feel like I got my message across.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 1 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
