1.) Based on the samples I’ve seen, a photo essay doesn’t include any paragraphs but just a collection of images.
2.) Imagery is heavily used in photo essays.

4.) There is no dialogue nor anyone speaking.
5.) The purpose of a photo essay is to provide a form of storytelling through a collection of images, as for the tone, this largely depends on the images used.
6.) A photo essay is organized by having a story behind the collection of images as well as having a cohesive style and theme.
7.) Photo essays can be found in just about anything, some examples are in books, magazines, and web pages.
8.) Anyone can create a photo essay, in my specific sample I used, there isn’t a clear answer on who created the piece but I’d assume a regular person as the photo essay is a collection of images on the same location, a busy street.
