The genre I chose for my U3 assignment is Twitter/X thread. The reason I chose this specific genre is because it can reach to people beyond my target audience inside of Twitter/X and out (meaning it can reach other social media platforms.). I can also insert hashtags because it’ll boost my thread to the audience I’m trying to reach. So when people search up something specific that’s related to my thread, they can come across my post.
