I’d like to share my research about how prices going up (inflation) affect how much people need to spend (cost of living) with government decision-makers. These folks understand how money and the economy work. They might know that prices are going up, but they might worry about how this makes life harder for regular folks. They might be thinking about how to help families who struggle more when prices rise, especially those who don’t earn a lot of money.
