The audience I would like to share my research with is mainly politicians and African Americans. The reason I would like to share it with those specific groups is because in my research, black people were targeted in the drug war. I would want to inform other African Americans about it so they become more aware about it (if not already aware) and to start up a conversation about it. I also want it to reach politicians because of the severity of people of color getting prosecuted more than caucasians. I think there are African Americans that are aware of the situation but some might not be and that’s where bring awareness comes into play. I also think politicians are aware of the situation but don’t want to do anything about it. I believe both parties wouldn’t be surprised based on history and if they were really concerned, an effort would’ve been made and something would’ve been done already.
