a part that stuck out to me is when burn said “You must look at a book the way a carpenter looks at a house someone else built, examining the details in order to see how it was made” and it makes sense, rather than trying to break down what the author is saying you should try to use the building blocks they provided you with to reach their conclusions and see their perspective
