In the essay named How to read like a writer by Mike bunn something that stand out and I found useful was that the author realized that while reading each author has it’s own way of writing things, each of them have their own method and as readers we can connect and I would like to try to understand those methods take my time and understand everything that I’m, reading. Also one part of the text that really impacted me was when the author said ”Say you’re reading an essay in class that begins with a short quote from President Barack Obama about the war in Iraq. As a writer, what do you think of this technique? Do you think it is effective to begin the essay with a quote? ”(Bunn,73). This idea it’s important because it makes me think on how true and important quotes are because depending on how you begin you either catch the reader’s attention or move it away, even make him not understand your idea.
