After reading “Allegory of the Cave”, I noticed that Plato was talking about how humans have lived in this world and they keep on constantly comparing and contrast the reality that they are living in which is in present time versus what image they have created for this world and what they see through their own eyes. Just like how, the prisoners are seeking in the darkness of this cave that is being brought up multiple times throughout the reading which shows how they made the decision of rejecting this idea that was made. Even though, if the prisoners did the opposite and actually accepted these truths and ideas that were made about this world they would be accepting to see the true reality and move on from this image they have created in their own minds.
