I think the connection is between growth mindset and having an effective study routine is if you keep your mindset on studying and getting things done your mindset will become more advance and equipped . So your effective study routine will continue to be good and right every time if you stay on it . I found studying in a quiet place is good and whenever things get hard I shouldn’t give up I should just keep my mind on track and see where I went wrong .

    • Christian Lozano

If it’s hard, ask for help. If you’re doing well studying, then find ways to maintain your focus. Study routines help but life is chaotic so it’s important to figure out how to get yourself to sit down and study despite the chaos.

An individual with a growth mindset believes that skills and intelligence can be improved with effort and hard work. If you have a growth attitude, you’ll be more apt to modify your study habits as necessary. You don’t see difficulties as signs of your limitations, but rather as chances to grow and learn from them. Because of your flexibility, you can gradually improve and tweak your study techniques to increase the efficiency of your routine.

Intelligence is just how far ahead of the start line you start, not the finish line. You’re right, not limiting yourself and looking to grow instead of just “get it done” is key in developing a strong growth mindset. It’s challenging after all the years of hating school but it’s possible to change.

I think the connection is that having a growth mindset build up the motivation to develop and adapt effective study routine by openness to feedback and a steady improvement mindset. The things I’ve learned about growth mindset, I have found the most interesting was one of the quotes in class which was “when something is hard, it makes me want to work on it more, not less.” This quote stood out to me because not only it’s a growth mindset but I can relate to it and encourage me to not give up and work on it more.

    • David Mendez Medina

The most important thing is not giving up. You give up for one class that can lead to a bad habit and can effect your GPA, financial aid, and can put you in academic probation.

I think that the connection between having a growth mindset and developing an effective study routine is that you don’t oppose to trying out different things/ways as to get you to work more efficiently and procrastinate less. If something in your study routine is making you procrastinate and holds you back from organizing your time correctly you should think of an alternative to replace that puzzle in the routine, that is what a growth mindset is. we shouldn’t just blame our fall backs on something/someone and keep our routine and mindset the same but instead try to think of different ways in how to improve ourselves and fix the apparent problem.
