After looking at the tinkerkit site, I have a better idea of materials I will need to create my spiderbot. Obviously, a motor, not sure if I should get the micro or regular. I guess my decision will be based on how big I want the spiderbot to be. I would want a few LEDs. I think one for power, one to show the bot is receiving commands (this will be optional, depending on how exactly I want the robot to be controlled), and I think one more maybe as an error indicator. I’m not exactly sure how I want the bot to be controlled. I am leaning more towards autonomous just because I think it would be easier. As a backup, I think I would want it to be controlled by a joystick either by an android device or a remote control.
As of now, this is what I got. I’m sure as time goes on, I will have a better idea of what I want/need.
