Ok, I have been thinking and thinking and thinking… and I need some help!
My idea is to make an interactive led curtain or screen that can be used in a show or concert for example. I have two really good friends who are singers, and one of them has recently released a beautiful CD that has inspired me to do something like that. I thought about a LED curtain https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXdbmonlKng&feature=related , because I saw a few things on youtube using Led curtains, and it seems very convenient to transport and everything in case of a tour. It could be a projection as well, like in this video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGoZktCzMS4&feature=related but using a rear projection instead. I thought of it been maybe in the center of the stage and as the performer sings or dances, the lights would interact with her. I actually have this image of my friend, in this case, walking to the middle of the LED curtain while singing one of the songs and the lights would just gather around her, as if she was attracting energy. The lights would come from the edges of the screen and kind of contour her body. Am I making any sense here?
Now, I am just not sure what kind of sensor this would be. She would be near the LED curtain, but not touching it. A photo sensor maybe? Please help me, I really don’t know what can be used to sense her body and follow her movements.
