I sat around thinking alot of what I would like to do with an Arduino. I can only think of one thing that makes any sense to me. I want to control a robotic arm through use of my muscle signatures. Electromyography is a technique for evaluating and recording the electrical activity produced by muscles. EMG (Electromyography ) is performed using an instrument called an electromyograph. An electromyograph detects the electrical potential generated by muscle cells when these cells are electrically or neurologically activated. The signals can be analyzed to detect medical abnormalities, activation level, recruitment order or to analyze the bio-mechanics of human or animal movement. In the a few months the latest of these Electromyograph based consumer products will be releasing.

I intend to attach EMG sensors to my forearm and read my muscle signatures and then attach the other end to an Arduino that then proceeds to be attached to a robotic arm that mimics my muscle movements through the interpretation of the data it is receiving
My ultimate idea is to create prosthetic limbs, limited to hands for now, at a much cheaper cost to the cunsumer. There are some out there right now but they are expensive
Here is one of the leading companies in prosthetic robotics:
