I picked Jun Rekimoto out of the people interviewed for the Designing Interactions book. I chose Jun due to the Pick and Drop device he invented. This speaks to me personally because of how simple it is to use.(Not because my phone is currently not recognizing any usb inputs, so i can’t charge or transfer anything. That’s just coincidence).
There are many small hindrances that hinder people from sharing things. No internet connection, not having another person’s contact info, your computing device not recognizing any usb inputs for no reason at all, not even to charge, just charge and similar reasons like that. I feel the Pick and Drop stylus is a panacea of sorts to the how easy it is to use and because it doesn’t require much to use it.
I hope this technology becomes mainstream and come to everyday computing devices, even those without touchscreens.
