Our communication department is also responsible for the organizations Newsletter for each month. I am also part of the newsletter design team, and so my group has split articles provided to us to design through in design using our typographic skills. The director gave us a mood board to follow the color scheme of green. I received an article on global warming, where it speaks on Chile and other South American countries struggling with increasing temperatures and wildfires.
I would describe my take on the design as a minimalistic layout. This follows a more sophisticated design as this article is news on global warming, hence a serious topic rather than a casual article on entertainment/media. I included subtle tones of green within the title, the images, and boarders for the type. I believe my design allows the reader to understands the text, while still following the March theme.
