Each file should be saved according to the following naming convention. i.e., 02_LastNameHW.ai (Adobe Illustrator).
- Use your flower design from our class Lab and recreate the design changing the color theme. Save it in the correct naming convention and email it for your folder.

How do you duplicate a shape keeping it aligned to the original shape?
To duplicate a shape while keeping it aligned with the original shape, you would need to have the shape selected and hold down the command button then press “d”. The shape, size and color of the shape will all be identical to the original copy. The shape will only be altered if a certain angle is applied.
Question 02
How would you “globally” change colors from your design? For example, change all blue colors to purple.
The color pallet is a great tool to be used when changing multiple shapes to one specific color. You can also access this in 2-3 different ways. Selecting the all of the shapes that contain the color blue is a great start. Hold down command and press “g” to group these shapes. Since they’re now grouped, go to the color pallet and select the color purple which will be applied to all shapes grouped together.
