Logline: David lets his ego get the better of him at the gym which results in injuring himself.
Outline: David, 21, has been going to the gym for several weeks now to help him get stronger. One day David notices another man at the gym who is roughly around his same body weight, doing the same exercise he does but with more weights. David knows he can’t do the same weights but still tries to do them. David is doing the exercise knowing the weights are too heavy but still pushes himself because he doesn’t want to look weak. After a couple of seconds David starts feeling a sharp pain in the biceps and drops the weights immediately. David goes to the doctor that same day and they tell him that he pulled his bicep muscle and can’t go to the gym for several months.
Logline: Jake is being fat shamed at school which results him to start losing weights.
Jake is a freshman in high school who is always being picked on for his weight which makes him feel sad all the time. Jake has a hard time eating any type of food or going up the stairs because there are kids around who will make fun of him. Jake is even scared to attend gym class because he knows kids will say he runs out of the breath easily. When freshman years ends he decides to start losing weight during the summer.
