The easy part has now been completed, which is saying a lot. I wasn’t expecting a free ride but I thought since I was working at the same time, and going through three other classes including Senior Project, my supervisor would go a little easier on me. I was wrong.The job was to have me help her design visual supplements to her lessons. The work sounds simple on paper but it was grueling. My supervisor tacks on work load after work load after work load. It is difficult and even feels impossible at times, but I’m glad it’s this way. Now I get to see what I’m truly made of and how much I can handle. And so far with everything going on I’m proud of myself. I’m fighting to keep up with the workload and life but I’m fighting nonetheless. This internship and my ability to juggle it with everything else is improving my confidence as a designer and moreso a working adult.
