Video Project

For this project we were supposed to get five minutes of camera footage revolving a round a key word during spring break. My teacher suggested we use a camera phone but I had another camera so I used that one also. When we came back from spring break we would edit a majority of the video in class and then upload it to Youtube.

My thought process for this was just a day at the skatepark to Brooklyn and capture the traveling in between. I also had one of my friends (Carlos) take the reigns for some of the filming. I also wanted to put an emphasis on skateboarding because that’s how I met Carlos. I edited the clips to go to with the music.

The most frustrating challenge was trying to find a good song for this. And if I wanted to change the song, I then had to change the video to accommodate it. Other than that, I wanted more steady time lapses but I lacked the equipment because iPhones have really bad shaky cameras.
