My Courses
COMD 2400 Communication Design Spring 26
In this course, students learn to refine their conceptual thinking, and the ability to apply design concepts across various media channels. This course challenges students to think and strategically apply campaign ideas. At this stage, students choose a media placement and incorporate it into the solution. The course also introduces the collaborative relationship between Art Director and Copywriter. Student teams brainstorm, develop copy, art direct and pitch ideas in teams. Students will explore the dialogue between products and services and how to communicate their benefits and features to the intended target.

My Clubs
We are a design club at New York City College of Technology. We host Meet the Pros (facebook.com/meetthepros) speaker series and we release an annual design magazine, Command+J.
This club is open to all City Tech students, but was originally conceived for the students of the Advertising Design & Graphic Arts (ADGA) Department. We have formed to help bring traditional printmaking techniques back into the general awareness of our members in order to ground them more fully in the philosophy and heritage of graphic arts design and production. We work to offer informative lectures, presentations, exhibitions, demonstrations, and field trips for our students to explore all forms of printmaking, including but not limited to screenprint, relief, lithography, and intaglio.
City Tech Times is the official name of the student managed and operated college newspaper of New York City College of Technology (CUNY). Our primary objective is to report news in a specialized format to our diverse student population. Our goal is to provide a forum for students to voice their opinions and concerns on issues that relate or affect them. Our office is in Atrium 310 (in between the Pearl and G Buildings), and we’re open 5-days a week. Feel free to stop by to find out how you can get involved with CTT. CONNECT with us via facebook.com/citytechtimes and on Twitter @citytechtimes You can email us at nycct.newtechtimes@gmail.com or call the office at 718.260.5453.
