Subject: Internship Opportunity for Students Interested in Interior Design

Hi Eko’e,
My name is Tyler, and I am the development associate for The Designers Group. We are an interior design firm with offices in New York City, Miami, and Toronto. I would like to let you and the students in the NYC College of Technology Industrial Design Department know about an exciting internship opportunity offered by our Brooklyn office.

Once a week throughout the summer, we will host a day-in-the-life visit for an aspiring designer. Participants will have the opportunity to shadow TDG staff in various departments throughout the day, giving them a firsthand look at all aspects of the design process. We hope TDG Insider will provide a comprehensive and inspiring introduction for those interested in pursuing a career in interior design. Program participants will also be able to stay in touch with and be mentored by one of our designers as they get ready to begin their careers. The TDG design team is already hard at work developing design challenges and activities and can’t wait to meet the next generation of great designers!

Community is a core value here at TDG, and we are always looking for ways to give back to our community. With TDG Insider, we are so excited to continue our tradition of giving back by showing the next generation of great designers what it’s really like to work in interior design.

If any of the students in the department are interested in becoming a TDG Insider, please forward an application for them to fill out. If you have questions or want to learn more, please don’t hesitate to ask. We hope to get to know some of the CityTech Industrial Design students this summer!

Thanks,

Tyler Glenn

Dear students and recent graduates:

Siemens Presentation event will be tomorrow at 2:00 PM.
Many of you have informed me that you would come for the event and asked for the dress code. The dress code is casual. You don’t have to dress up.
