This video is a 7 minute 50 second video produced by Hari Sreenivasan , Jason Kane and Alison Thoet. It explains the mental battle college students face around the country . Students are feeling a loss in “experience “ . Jasmine, a college student said “zoom fatigue is real” .Many students said they’ve reconsidered college . Varum mentions anxiety, depression and loneliness has been exacerbated because of being away from people .

This is an amazing video that sheds light on the struggle college students face . I totally agree that remote learning can cause a strain on your mental health . Many students who have already struggled with poor mental health have struggled even more with class being remote during the first beginning half of the coronavirus epidemic .Learning remotely is not the easiest and you don’t get to socialize as much as you would in person . A college student named Jamine said “we attend campus to work & network . we are just learning — i’m just turning in assignments and not knowing is information staying with me” this student was vocal on her learning experience  .“ Varumne, a student said  “ We’re tribal people , as human beans we need to be a tribe . college is a place where many students find their tribe “ i agree , not being a socialize with other students will take strain . Since elementary school we’ve been face to face with one another unless you were home schooled.  I loved how the producer interviewed college students to receive feed back on how life was being a college student during the pandemic showing that college students matter .

Hari Sreenivasan  joined the PBS NewsHour in 2009. He is the Anchor of PBS NewsHour Weekend and a Senior Correspondent for the nightly program. Hari Sreenivasan did this video to resonate with the college students during the pandemic , to encourage college students there not alone . Sreenivasan listeners can be any one . The narrator interviewed colleges to give their opinion on college during the pandemic . This was the most effective way to point out the struggle they’ve faced from college student them selves .
