Tip 1- Understanding Deadlines
I have as busy as a schedule as anyone but I procrastinate when it comes to assignments. This is not because I just don’t want to, the collection of different websites for a variety of classes is intimidating. If professors could stick to just blackboard it would be easier. However, this won’t happen so I’ll have to use this tip to organize where the websites are. I’ll also need to get adjusted to websites so I can turn assignments in on time.
Tip 2- Come to class physically
As I stated before, I have a busy schedule with work, classes, and family duties. This makes it an obstacle to get to class, whether willingly or not. Living with an extended family invites uncertainty to any and every plan. It gets in the way because sometimes it becomes a choice to go to class or not. To work on this, I’ll try to get all of my family members schedules to synergize. I’ll also have to start meal prepping so I don’t get caught being late making and eating food.
I completely understand how complicated it can be to physically show up to class because I also have to work on the days I come to school. So the second tip that you added is also something very significant to me.
Mo — I agree with you that it would be better if the college had ONE platform for all professors. But unfortunately the college has many different platforms and the professors are free to choose. That makes it difficult for you the student. So I sympathize with the students.
You write well about the difficulties of living with an extended family. But you seem to have found a way to work around this. FOOD — wow with an extended family at home, I would hope you don’t have to cook and there must be some good cooks in the family!
