I am Jizelle Thompson but y’all can call me Christine. My mother wanted to name me something common but my grandmother (father’s mother ) wanted something unique. I come from a pot of cultures but mainly Trinidadian and Indian. Around the age of three, I found a love for reading. When I entered junior high school I figured out what I wanted my career choice to be, nursing ( pediatrics) I’ve always had a love for helping people, as well as a love for babies. over the years in public school I continued to still have a passion for nursing.
COVID was a bit of a challenging time for me, I felt alone and I was tired of sitting in the house all day. I lost confidence in myself mentally and physically. once the COVID lockdown was raised I found myself a job at Wendy’s which taught me real-life skills and how to handle things in adult life. So moved on to my current job working with special needs kids (I love my job ).
Besides my love for Science and English, among other things, I have a love fashion, beauty, and sneakers ( especially). If I had to describe my style it would be tomboy/ streetwear. I like cute, comfy, and stylish all at once. My sneaker collection consists of JordanS, Dunks, and New Balance, just to name a few. I love to travel. This year I’ve been to India, London, Grenada, Trinidad, Bahamas, and Turks & Caicos. This year I got out of my comfort zone by going to concerts, among other things. Concerts I’ve attended such as Bryson Tiller, Drake, A Boogie, Wale, and Rema just to name a few. my favorite genres of music consist of R&B, Soca, Drill, Rap, and Reggae. some artists I love are Bryson Tiller, Drake, Summer Walker, Kehlani, Vbyz Kartel, Alkaline, as well as many more.
Overall I’m just a chill girl, I would describe my personality as laid back but I can be social. Most of the time I’m quiet and shy. most of my friends would describe me as protective, caring, honest, funny, and crazy ( once I’m comfortable around you). Overall this is just a summary of who I am.
Aww, I want to start by saying your baby picture is so cute. I love reading too; you can never go wrong with a good book. During COVID, I was so bored too; it got tiring doing the same thing over and over every single day. Your current job is amazing. We have the same brands in our sneaker collection. All of your favorite artists are great; we have similar tastes in music. At first, I’m quiet and shy as well, but once I get comfortable, my true self is revealed. I love your intro; I learned a lot about you!
