Part A: The first draft is more a process she does because she must start somewhere. She writes anything down no matter how long it is because when she reviews the first draft, she will find a direction to take or see something she really likes and use it. She expands in the second draft from this so it is part of her process. The first draft always leads her somewhere in the end.
Part B: âBut this is just the fantasy of the uninitiated.â I feel like the uninitiated is the people who arenât writers. They people who believe it is easy for a writer to make a story. That it just comes to them whenever they get ready to type and the struggle is never noticed. They donât see the process and the shitty first drafts that they all go through.
