When I started playing soccer it helped me relax my mind more and not have school and fear of failing in my head all the time. Soccer means a lot to me because it not only helped bring me and my brother and dad together, but it also helped keep me sane and healthy, and fit. What I like most about soccer is that it is challenging and it is not like every other sport. It’s a foot-only sport, you need to practice a lot to get an understanding of the game and get used to it.
While joining a soccer team, I met someone who would help me become the young man I am today. His name is Coach Richardson, he helped me mentally and physically. The training helped me with my muscle memory. Coach Richardson was a role model to me because of the way he played the game of soccer, he was a very skillful player, but he was a playmaker and that’s the way I wanted to play.
I can definitely relate with joining a team when I started playing football it definitely helped me mature. It was also good to be around a team like environment
I feel the same way, but with basketball, meeting players and coaches and building a connection between them can take your mind off of anything. I can also relate to sports helping me stay fit. My favorite thing about sports is that it’s exercise, but it doesn’t actually feel like it because you are having fun and doing what you are passionate about. My coach was inspirational too and tried to instill good habits in everyone that he coached.
