“We still live under systemic racism in this country. That is a fact that has notchange.Things have changed within that system, but the system itself has not changed”(Paragraph 17 line 46-45). Well I pick this quote because it has a deeper meaning. “Things have changed within that system, but the system itself has not change” I believe that Malcom x believes the system is changing but not fast enough. The reason I say this, is because in the interview when the interviewer ask him”Do you think society has made progress since 1965″ Malcom x replies and say “I would say not enough”. This leads me to think that even though they are changing the systems, they still carrying the old habits from the old system into the new system, because even with all the new systems there is still systemic racism.
