We went into the performance looking to interact with the audience and handing out information on better ways to recycle. The idea to throw plastic bottles was good in that it grabs peoples attention, because its not something they see everyday and they would be curious as to what we are doing. We ran the performance about three times and handed out a few zines with information. A few spectators came up to our table to check out the art, but we didn’t get as much people as we had hoped. The site was filled with mostly people that’s commuting so maybe they didn’t have time to stop. Also the local police was there and they didn’t seem to want us doing too much at the location without a permit. When all was said and done we were able to reach a few people and spread information on better recycling.
