George Condo work has always drawn inspiration to me. As a kid, I remember Kanye West’s My Beautful Dark Twisted Fantasy album cover was very intriguing. His surreal figures gave emotion to human appendages. Condo has also worked with Dior with Mr. Kim Jones.

I remember watching a documentary about this guy some time ago. I didn’t even know he did Kanye’s album cover at the time. But he said something about the creative process that stuck with me. I don’t remember it verbatim, but it was something to the effect of “You can’t sit around and wait for creative ideas to just come to you. That’s what amateurs do. Instead, just start working, and the creative process will come to you as you go along.” I thought that was very profound insight. Thanks for posting!
