Tufting Art is another thing I’m very much interested in and want to try. I first seen this style of art a few years ago during quarantine. It looks really fun to create and I’m sure is very tedious. Tufting is a weaving method to create textiles, including garments and carpets. The tools you need for tufting is a tufting machine, tufting cloth, yarn, tufting frame, adhesive, backing cloth and shaping and finishing tools. Tufting has became really popular over the past few years. A lot of people has even made a business out of tufting all over social media.
Thanks for this post. I’d like to see these in person. Do you know if there are tufting artists working locally in our area, whose work we can see in person? The tufted texture seems like it would be fun to touch!
