I live in the Bronx and often pass by the Grand Concourse and I love seeing the buildings and the interior design as well. I decided to do some research on the designs of the building and already had a feeling that it was all Art Deco. Art Deco started appearing and gaining a bit of popularity in the U.S in the 20s. I see that the interior is filled with different patterns and mostly warm-earthy tones as the usual color palette. I really like the shape of the front of the buildings, specifically the 888 Grand Concourse building that is near Yankee Stadium. It is a differently shaped building and has a big circular top that covers the entrance. There is also another building in 170th Street that has a lovely painting at the entrance of the building.
