Another stopmotion movie that I believe got the praise it deserves is Guillermo Del Toro’s stopmotion movie, Pinocchio. I find it very funny how both Del Toro’s Pinocchio and Disney’s liveaction Pinocchio were released at the same time and only one movie had done better than the other movie had. Many people have been calling out Disney for making cashgrab live action movies that lack the magic that the originals do. Del Toro’s Pinocchio is the same storyline, but has a darker theme to it, giving it its own spin to it. I believe this movie actually won an award and it really does deserve that award.
