Since I’ve been watching more stopmotions, I stumbled across the movie Coraline. (I also heard it was going to be released in theaters again in August) It hasn’t been too long since I first watched the movie, so I was incredibly late to the watch-party. Coraline was originally a book (I used to see the book at the library) and I have seen it around and realized it was a stop motion movie. The stop motion in this movie is actually stunning and it is actually refreshing to see that it doesn’t have a sequel and it shines on its own. The movie has its own charm and has funky looking characters. Stop Motion movies or works will always have my respect due to the patience people have to produce them.
