Ruiz Durand’s artistic style is distinctive and immediately recognizable. He often used bright, contrasting colors and dynamic compositions that drew viewers’ attention. His work frequently incorporated elements of pop art, a style that was gaining popularity globally at the time. However, Ruiz Durand adapted this style to reflect Peruvian cultural symbols, including indigenous patterns and Andean iconography.

Tais,
Bro… Tbh, I’m embarrassed to say I’m unfamiliar with this artist and I should be ashamed of myself lol. He clearly does beautiful work. I especially love that one that says, “Reforma Agraria Base De Una Nueva Sociedad.” Land reform for working class Latinos is a strong message. Coupled with the fact that he’s not afraid to use these bold, seemingly complimentary colors that stand out and really bring the artwork to life. Thanks for posting!
