These four artworks are by Keila Strong from Chicago, I first seen her artwork on Facebook. Her work is based on the traditions and celebrations of black culture in a mosaic form. She uses hair accessories to form and shape the figure. I find these artworks so unique, clever and nostalgic. I love the bright colors she uses and the fact that she sticks to only hair accessories.
