Introduction animation for screencasting
I created a string of animations utilizing a bee flying across the screen. This video can be utilized for school screens and also for The Buzz posts.
The animation was going to be used as an introduction to announcements during Campus screencasts.
Before creating the animations I drew a few variations of the bee to make the wings fluttering look as natural and seamless as possible. I also had to slow the animation slides enough to make the bee look like it is gliding smoothly and not popping on and off the screen.
I tried a few different versions of the bee trying to make the animation simple but freely flowing. I tried to avoid causing any distractions to the viewer, and for the final version I incorporated an extra bee to balance out the screen.
