We as a group talked, and I realized that since we are more experienced we kind of forgot how we struggled, so we took a while to think back, and found that we were lacking basic information such as what and how to use degree works. So as Zhenghua mentioned, we made a riddle hunt. We also thought up an app to connect students to their peers. It may be kind of like an afterthought, regardless if they attend the student orientation or not.
The reading was an interesting read. It was about visualization data over time. It gave a better understanding about the backbone of graphs that we use today. Itβs crazy that the same type of graphs are being used in different departments such as mathematics, politics, economics, etc. However, they are shown in different ways to show different variables.
