On the James Beard Website I learned that their mission is to America’s food culture more delicious, diverse, and sustainable for everyone. The second thing I learned is that James Beard was the host of the first food program on the fledgling medium of television in 1946. The third thing I learned was that James Beard wrote several cook books.
