Many cruises have place a high priority on energy efficiency as a step on helping their environment through their environmental protection programs. Also cruise ships face many inspections through each year from the ports they visit. These inspections included checking of the equipment, practicing for waste management, emission reductions and water treatment to make sure there is a low waste and pollution rate within the water.
